Abc för barn (swedish edition)

Cries and Whispers is a group exhibition presenting Swedish contemporary painting and sculpture. Here, eight artists, born in the 60s, 70s and 80s, are invited to represent a figurative art movement that has received great attention in Sweden and internationally. The title, borrowed from Ingmar Bergman’s film Cries and Whispers from 1972, echoes in the exhibition. There is a strong relationship between these artists, but also crucial differences in their approach. Both the intimate, vulnerable whispers and the distant, powerful cries can be traced.

The newly founded Art Berlin is a partnership between ABC (Art Berlin Contemporary) and Art Cologne. As a further evolution of ABC, the art fair takes place for the first time in September 2017. Art Berlin presents around 110 international galleries from 16 countries at Station at Gleisdreieck. In addition to emerging as well as established galleries focusing on contemporary art, one will also be able to discover modern art.

We are pleased to be a part of Chart Art Fair in Copenhagen for the fifth consecutive year. At this year’s edition of Chart we will show a wide variety of paintings in a group exhibition with selected works by 13 of the gallery artists.

We are pleased to present a selection of gallery artists at Frieze New York. Our stand (D19) is built around an installation by Bella Rune. The work is a sculpture in itself, but also serves as a room divider and exposure area for other artists.

It will be the internationally renowned artist’s first solo exhibition in Denmark. in a comprehensive installation of brand new works, she will be showing ceramic sculptures and drawings that open up a wealth of grotesque, absurd, melancholic and humorous stories.

Recognizing the growing need for new forms of work space and collaborative environments, Alma is opening its doors on Nybrogatan 8 in Stockholm. A space for work and play, Alma was founded for the sole purpose of nurturing creative people and their ideas.

We have the pleasure to present Klara Kristalova’s fifth solo exhibition at the gallery. Her last major presentation in Stockholm was an acclaimed exhibition at Bonniers Konsthall in 2012.
